I. Primary element

Primary element displays entries list you will add in Administration. What is more, it also displays other lists in an identical way, for instance, entries list from the browser, entries list from a particular category. You can switch between different lists through clicking on links in add-ons.

In this element you have at your disposal:
  1. A way of entries presentation
  2. Intro length
  3. A number of entries
  4. Header
  5. Element space and Alignment
Ad 1. A way of entries presentation

It allows to select whether entries added are presented on the list fully or their intros are just shown.

You can also select intros with images – then first photos from entries will be shown.

Ad 2. Intro length

It determines the length of an intro on the entries list. The length concerns the number of characters.

Ad 3. A number of entries

That is the number of entries presented on the list.

Ad 4. Header

If you want to present an additional header just before the primary element and you want it to be different depending on the list type – use header option.

Thanks to it you can use header, for instance, ‘The newest entries’ on the entries main list, on the other hand, in category option ‘The newest entries from category’, etc. might occur.

Ad 5. Element space and Alignment

Space and alignment in the primary element works in the same way as in other elements. You can set an internal space, external space and to which side the element is to be aligned.

Removal

By removing the primary add-on you will remove the whole Blog application – including entries added, comments, categories, etc.

II. Archive

Archive Add-on displays a list of months during which entries have been added. You can add it to any subpages.

In this add-on you have at your disposal:
  • A number of links - maximum number of links shown in the Archive.
  • Sort - a way of links presentation: the newest first or last on the list.
  • Header - here enter the text which will occur as an add-on header. If you do not want to display it, just remove the content of this field.

III. Tags

Tags add-on displays a list of tags added – in other words, key words.

You have two types of presentation at your disposal: as a list or as tag cloud:

At your disposal you have also:
  • A number of tags - that is maximum number of tags presented in the add-on.
  • Sort - You can display tags according to alphabet or popularity.
  • Header - here enter the text which will occur as an add-on header. If you do not want to display it just remove the content of this field.
IV. Categories

Categories Add-on serves for presentation of category list from Blog.

V. Search

Search Add-on is a browser in other words. It searches only and exclusively entries from your Blog – it does not search the rest of the subpages.

VI. Posts

Posts Add-on displays posts from Your Blog as regular links. There is no possibility of showing contents or additional information, such as a number of comments, etc. It is a simple add-on you can add to another subpage to encourage visitors to read Your Blog.

  • Sort - You can decide in what way to present entries: according to popularity, alphabet or publishing date.
  • Header - here enter a text which will occur as an add-on header. If you do not want to display it, just remove the content of this field.

VII. RSS

Every Blog on manifo has its RSS. It is an additional tool for tracing Your entries on Blog.

Users who read blog with the use of RSS reader will be notified as soon as you add a new entry.

RSS works irrespective of whether or not you add that add-on. The add-on aims only at notifying Your visitors of the fact that RSS channel is available.
